In one of the ORF’s first videos on the platform, project members Florian Schmidt from APA and Jakob-Moritz Eberl from the University of Vienna give helpful tips on how to spot Fake News on social media.

The video emphasizes the importance of media literacy in today’s digital age. In line with the overall aim of ANALYSIS, Schmidt and Eberl also provide viewers with the necessary tools to spot misleading information, such as the reverse-image-search. Other tips include checking the source, evaluating the credibility of the content, and understanding the context in which the information is presented.
