About Course
Throughout this module, you will be able to identify misinformation patterns on social media, understand user-generated content, and identify and analyze bots analytics.
In each topic, you will have different resources at your disposal to deepen your knowledge. We will answer some questions such as:
– What are some common metrics used in social media analysis, and how are they measured?
– What defines user-generated content, and why is it significant in the context of social media?
– What strategies can be employed to analyze and evaluate the credibility of user-generated content?
– What are bots, and how do they operate on social media platforms?
Before moving on to the concepts and the actual lessons, I would like to explain to you how the module is organized.
For each topic, we will have a short video (like this one) to introduce the key concepts. The videos provided may be original (recorded by me) or taken from the Internet and properly credited, of course. Additional resources, such as readings and other videos, are intended to expand upon the initial concepts covered. They may be required or optional reading/consultation, but their nature will always be indicated.
We will have 1 synchronous session that will be recorded and made available for those who cannot attend. We will use quizzes, forums, and case studies for different activities.
