About Course

In this course you’ll learn the basics of how to track sources in the digital age and give depth and validity in your reporting. We start by offering an overview of what has changed over the years around source tracking in journalism. How did we get from finding evidence in real-life in the years of Watergate, to having to deal with extreme disinformation online that puts a damper on our efforts to validate sources and storylines? This is a course that will get you think about the digital transformation of journalism, in the age of AI, while providing an updated list of tools and technology that every reporter needs to be aware of, in his/her effort to win the battle against disinformation and to bring back trust in the profession.
